Review for Test II

The test will consist of three parts.

Part I (50 points) Multiple Choice/True-False

The questions will focus on the material in Media Studies (Devereux). Also include all the material from the web page, videos, handouts, as well as anything discussed in class.

Part II (25 points) Essay

Essay on public sphere vs. market model and how various concepts are relevant to each model (25 points)

Part III (25 points) Short Answer

3 short answer questions of different formats: explain a concept; compare and contrast two concepts; explain a phrase or sentence, put recent events in a theoretical context. . . . (8 points each). 2 of the questions will come from the Supplemental Readings.
