Helpdesk Consultant are encouraged to enjoy their breaks without having to worry about
the Saint Mary's College Helpdesk.
Helpdesk Consultant responsibilities end at 5:00pm on the day before a break. (For example, fall and spring breaks begin on Saturdays, so Helpdesk Consultant
responsibilities end at 5:00pm on Friday when the Helpdesk closes for the day.
Thanksgiving break begins on a Wednesday, so Helpdesk Consultant responsibilities
end at 5:00pm on Tuesday.
Easter break begins on a Friday, so Helpdesk Consultant responsibilities
end at 5:00pm on Thursday. You are responsible for
all of your Helpdesk shifts, appointments, meetings, and all other duties until that time.)
Helpdesk Consultant responsibilities resume at 8:00am on the first class
day after the break. (For example, fall, spring, and Thanksgiving breaks end on Sundays, so all
Helpdesk Consultants
responsibilities resume at 8:00am on Monday. Easter break ends on a Monday, so all
Helpdesk Consultant
responsibilities resume at 8:00am on Tuesday.)
If you are not able to adhere to the above schedule, you are required
to find another Helpdesk Consultant to accept your responsibilities until you return
from the break.
