I was using my computer and an Internet Service Provider at home over a weekend/break, but now I am back on campus and having problems connecting to ResNet. Can you help me?
When you connected to the Internet from home, you probably changed your connection settings. The easiest way to make sure that all of your computer's settings are back to the way they need to be to connect to ResNet is to follow the instructions for connecting to ResNet.
Connection instructions for ResNet (popularly referred to as the Purple Packet) are available in the ResNet Office. The instructions are also available on the ResNet website (http://www.saintmarys.edu/resnet) - the links are listed in the left column.
If you are still having problems connecting your computer to ResNet, please complete a ResNet Problem Report Form at http://fixit.saintmarys.edu and a ResNet Computer Consultant (RCC) will contact you.
We encourage students to visit the ResNet Office when it is open for immediate assistance with their computers.
