What is Google Authenticator and how do I get it?
Google Authenticator generates two-factor authentication codes so you can access resources including QuickLaunch and Google Workspace (which includes your Saint Mary's e-mail account). With the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet, you do not need a cellular or wireless connection to receive the authentication codes, making it an ideal way to verify your identity when travelling or when you are in a location that has poor cellular service (including basements and remote areas).
