I would like to set up my iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to send and receive messages using my Saint Mary's e-mail account. Is this possible?
Yes, it is possible to configure your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to send and receive messages using your Saint Mary's e-mail account.
Please note that any e-mail you send to Saint Mary's faculty, staff, or students should be sent from your Saint Mary's e-mail account. Your Saint Mary's e-mail account is the official method of communication for the College. Please follow the instructions in their entirety to enable your device to send and receive messages from your Saint Mary's e-mail account.
Also, messages that you receive and create on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch are stored on the Zimbra mail server, which will affect your 2GB quota. Messages that you mark as read on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch will also be marked as read when you view them via Zimbra webmail.
These instructions are provided for those who wish to use their iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch with their Saint Mary's e-mail so the device can be configured correctly. For information about the support that ResNet, the Helpdesk, and Information Technology are able to provide for mobile devices, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions about Mobile Device Support
