Microsoft Office

Saint Mary's College offers Microsoft 365 for Students for free to our students! Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Microsoft 365 offers full versions of current Office software that can be downloaded and installed on students' personally-owned macOS and Windows computers. Versions of Office for mobile devices are also included with Microsoft 365. After a license has been assigned, a Saint Mary’s student can install Microsoft 365 software on up to five personally-owned computers and mobile devices.

Saint Mary's students are encouraged to request a free Microsoft 365 license through ResNet before classes begin for the academic year so the software is available to them when it is needed.

ResNet only processes Microsoft 365 license requests during orientation periods (undergraduate and graduate), the fall semester when classes are in session, and the spring semester when classes are in session.

During the 2026/2027 academic year, licenses may be requested August 20 - December 17 (2026 Fall Semester) and January 11 - May 7 (2027 Spring Semester).

Microsoft 365 license requests are not processed during breaks in the academic year or during the summer when the ResNet Office is closed.
