Microsoft Office

Saint Mary's College offers Microsoft Office 365 for Students for free to our students! Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Office 365 offers full versions of current Microsoft Office software that can be downloaded and installed on students' personally-owned macOS and Windows computers. Versions of Office for mobile devices are also included with Office 365. After a license has been assigned, a Saint Mary’s student can install Office 365 software on up to five personally-owned computers and mobile devices.

Saint Mary's students are encouraged to request a free Microsoft Office 365 license through ResNet.

ResNet only processes Microsoft Office 365 license requests during orientation periods (undergraduate and graduate), the fall semester when classes are in session, and the spring semester when classes are in session.

During the 2024/2025 academic year, licenses may be requested August 22 - December 20 (2024 Fall Semester) and January 13 - May 9 (2025 Spring Semester).

Microsoft Office 365 license requests are not processed during breaks in the academic year or during the summer when the ResNet Office is closed.
