Belles Take Invitational at Tri-State

ANGOLA, IN – In the first cross country meet of the season for all three teams involved, the Belles posted victory over Grace College and Tri-State in claiming the Tri-State Invitational.

The Belles top five runners finished no worse than ninth place overall in the individual race in helping Saint Mary’s post 27 total team points besting second place Grace who tallied 39 points. The host Thunder posted 69 team points.

The Belles’ Sam Wieczorek took top honors in the race with a time of 21:58 over the 5K course.
