Saint Mary's Finishes Spring Break Trip with Nine Wins

FT. MYERS – In the final two games of their 10 game spring trip to Florida, the Saint Mary’s softball posted a 6-2 win over North Park before knocking off Transylvania 6-1 later in the day.
The Belles end their season opening spring break trip with a 9-1 record after outscoring their opponents 82-14 during their week stay in the sunshine state.
In the win over North Park McKenna Corrigan went 2-for-3 with a homerun as she drive in three runs and scored another. Katie Rashid also posted a 2-for-3 performance with a homerun.
Calli Davison gave up five hits and struck out two in improving her record to 5-0 to start the season.
Kristin Amram posted another stellar effort on the mound during the win over Transylvania. The sophomore struck out 13 and allowed just one hit during the victory.
Davison posted a three hit effort to aid in the offensive output for the Belles. Sarah Miesle went 2-for-4 with two RBI’s and two runs scored.
