Belles Finish Tied for 14th at Ferris State

BIG RAPIDS, MI – After firing a 356 first round on Saturday afternoon, the Saint Mary’s golf team responded with a 341 for a two-round total of 697 to finish tied for 13 th at the Ferris State Invitational

Emily Gore fired an 80 in the second round after shooting a 88 in the first day to finish tied for 45 th overall in leading the Belles with a 168. Katie O’Brien (87-88) had the second best invitational for Saint Mary’s with a 175. Amanda Mainstone (90-86) and Perri Hamma (91-87) rounded out the scores for the Belles with a 176 and a 178 respectively.

Ferris State won the event with a two-round total of 616. Ferris State’s Jacqueline Benscoter shot an even par 144 to claim individual medalist honors.
