Saint Mary’s ranks in the WBCA’s Academic Top 25 
                              The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2006-07 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll and Saint Mary’s was among the honorees.  
              The Belles, who had one of its most successful seasons on the court with a 10-6 MIAA record while qualifying for the conference semifinals for the first time, was equally as successful in the classroom. The squad ranked 18th in all of Division III with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.411 for the past academic year.  
              Under the guidance of first-year head coach Jenn Henley, the Belles had eight players post a GPA of at least 3.5. Alison Kessler had a team best 3.9 GPA.  
              The Belles were one of only two MIAA teams honored in the Top 25 list as fellow conference member, Calvin entered the list with a 3.407 team GPA which was good enough for 21 st in the nation.
