Saint Mary's Takes Fourth in Two Events

At the Olivet Fall Invitational the Belles took fourth place with a two-round team total of 726. In a make-up of last week's rained out event at Olivet College, the Belles fired a team score of 375 in the opening round to place fourth in the nine team MIAA event at the Medalist Golf Club.

The first round total represented the first of three 18 hole MIAA Jamborees before the season ending league championships in the middle of October.

During the opening round, Kate Doornbos posted an overall finish of eighth with an 87 to pace the Belles efforts. Also for the Belles, Katie O'Brien shot a 95 while Alex Sei (96) and Kate McInerny (97) also fired rounds in the 90's. Joanna Dick posted a 101 to round out the Belles scoring.
