The Belles golf squad opened the 2006 campaign with a 7th place finish at the Tri-State Invitational.

Leading the charge for the Belles was junior Katie O' Brien who shot a 82 which included a hole-in-one at the par 3 15th hole. Kate Doornbos carded an 89 in her first collegiate tournament.
