Belles Place Second at MIAA Jamboree

KALAMAZOO, MI – Katie O’Brien led a Saint Mary’s charge by posting a 76 in helping the Belles finish second in the first of three MIAA Jamborees during the fall golf season.

The second Jamboree is Tuesday afternoon at Tri-State before the final Jamboree at Alma on September 25.

Saint Mary’s fired a 345 as a team while Olivet took top team honors with a 335. O’Brien posted the best individual score besting Olivet’s Megan Rimmel’s scored of 81.

In addition to O’Brien’s effort for the Belles, Emily Gore fired a 86 while Michelle Hird tallied a 90. Amanda Mainstine (93) and Perri Hamma (95) rounded out the scorers for the Belles.

Competing as individuals, Megan Lehr and Rosie O’Connor each fired a 90.
